A visitor to the popular tourist resort of Camp Humfres Island in Gulfport, Louisiana, recently discovered a camping mattress that is actually an old fishing boat.
“We found this boat with a lot of holes in the side and the hull was very dirty,” said Katie Smith, a local resident.
“It had the bottom completely exposed and all the electronics had been stripped off.”
The boat, dubbed the “Tunnel” and designed to be a “camping couch”, was discovered by Smith on the island on the evening of June 16.
The bed, which was in perfect condition, was also in good condition with a mattress on it, but it was also covered in mud and covered in algae.
Smith, who is a former resident of Camp Camp Humpha, had to spend the night on the boat before she was able to put it out of her misery.
“This is the first time I’ve been to Camp Humfrey Island, but I’ve heard it’s pretty much a tourist destination,” she said.
I was wondering if anyone had any idea where the boat was and if anyone was still using it,” she added. “
There’s been a lot more trash on the main island lately.

I think the boat would be a great place to put on a picnic for the kids.” “
But I’m hoping someone can find it and bring it back home to Camp Habib.

The “Tune-A-Harmony” was a tourist attraction at Camp Habibia, a popular destination for families from Camp Humphia to Camp Hemphreys.
The boat was discovered on June 16, 2017, after the owner of the property contacted Smith.
Camp Habiburans owner, Michael McDaniel, said the boat has been in storage since February.
“That’s when we found out about it and we got in touch with them and they immediately took it to the dock,” he told ABC News.
“They took it out for about a week and now they’ve put it back in storage for now, but they said they’ll bring it out and take it out again, maybe when we get more people there.”
Smith said the water is very dirty on Camp Habibi and she would be willing to pay to have it cleaned.
“Anybody who’s been out there knows that the water has been dirty,” she explained.
“A lot of the people that go out there are camping out in the water, and the boat is very easy to clean.”
McDaniel said he hoped the islanders would donate the boat to the local museum. “
Hopefully someone will find it, and if they can do it they’ll be able to bring it home.”

“My wife and I have been on the islands for about six years now, and she’s seen so much.
It’s been so beautiful, it’s like a place to be,” he said.
McDaniel also pointed out that the boat may be worth more than $100,000.
“If they find a better use for it, we’re all happy,” he added.
McAdams said the island is the ideal location for a camp.
“You can go out to Camp Haibba, Camp Habiba or Camp Humpheres, but Camp Hababibia is a great location to camp,” he explained.
“I think it’s really important to bring a lot to the island, to the people, to campers, to tourists, to everyone who comes here.”

And it’s just a lovely place to live.”
