More than 100 campers are set to leave the Baltimore area for the summer and travel to the Chesapeake Bay and Florida for summer activities.
The Maryland State Department of Tourism and Industry (MDSTI) is inviting campers to visit its campsites in Baltimore, Baltimore County, the city of Baltimore, and the surrounding area.
The parks department said it will provide free water and food to campers.
MDSTI also is offering to rent tents, blankets, and camping gear for campsites.
Campers are encouraged to bring their own gear, as well as tents and camping accessories to the campsites, according to the announcement.
Campers will be required to clean up after themselves at the campsite, which will be open daily from July 22 through Sept. 5.
The campgrounds are located at:1218 Park Place, Annapolis, MD 21214.
The campgrounds have an open camping area, as the park provides all the camping facilities.
